Delete your Wayword account
You can delete your Wayword account and all of its data at any time: in the app, or here if you no longer have it. Wayword is published by Real Blue Software LLC.
The quickest way: in the app
- Open Wayword and tap your initial at the top of Today.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted right away.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in (email, name, Google or Apple link)
- Your progress: lessons, review cards, saved phrases, speaking results
- Your settings, notification choices and device tokens
- Your usage events and the record of messages we sent you
Database backups roll off within 7 days. We keep only the account’s random sign-in ID, with no email or name, so an old sign-in can’t re-create the account. Recordings are never stored, so there are none to delete.
Without the app
Send the form. We email a link to the address on the account; pressing Delete my account in that email deletes it, the same way the app does. If that isn’t possible, we delete it by hand within 30 days and confirm by email. There’s nothing to pay and no subscription to cancel.
